Watching this video, many people will be ashamed to even dance with robots

Boston Dynamics’ Atlas and Spot robots have been able to do a lot of things that many other robots cannot do such as sprinting, exercising, jumping, tumbling, opening doors for other robots, washing dishes and catching The top does some work in practice. This is not the first time Boston Dynamics has shown the dancing skills of these robots. The company showed off a video showing its Spot robot performing dance moves to the music in Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” in 2018.

But the new video is really another “level” when the Atlas robot performs a variety of complex dance moves, including smooth runs, stomping, treading, and ankle twists like a twist. Pulp Fiction classics.

Things are even more amazing when these robots can turn up and coordinate with each other on the dance floor so smoothly that even humans can hardly do it. Compared to the Atlas robot’s jerk movements in 2016, its new hops in this video look like a CGI crafted piece.

Boston Dynamics was recently acquired by Hyundai from SoftBank for about $ 1.1 billion. Founded in 1992 after splitting from a research division of the MIT Institute. Since then, the company has changed hands through various corporations, including Alphabet in 2013 and SoftBank in 2017.

While the Atlas and Handle robots are still research prototypes, Boston Dynamics recently started selling Spot robots for $ 74,500. But it is not clear which company has bought these robots.
