Sony sells Xperia 5 in Vietnam as expensive as the iPhone 11 and Galaxy Note 10

Sony has recently officially announced that it will distribute Xperia 5 in Vietnam in the near future for 20 million VND.

Xperia 5 is the latest smartphone launched by Sony in September this year at IFA 2019. It can be considered Xperia 5 is a miniature version of the high-end Xperia 1 model, inheriting many technologies such as 21: 9 OLED screen, Snapdragon 855 chip, 3-camera cluster supports 4K HDR video … The biggest difference of Xperia 5 compared to Xperia 1 is the 6.1-inch screen smaller than the 6.5-inch Xperia 1.

With a price of 20 million, Xperia 5 is as expensive as other high-end models from popular brands such as Apple iPhone 11 or Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. Sony products are considered to be difficult to compete with such prices.

However, Sony has no plans to sell Xperia 5 widely. Specifically, this machine will not be available in major retail systems such as Mobile World, FPT Shop … but will be directly distributed by Sony through its Sony Center store chain. This is also how Sony has chosen to sell the previous Xperia 1.

Xperia 5 will be officially available in Vietnam on December 2. Users who pre-order Xperia 5 will receive a gift of Sony WH-XB700 headset.
