Samsung launches up to 64GB of DDR5X RAM, which can be equipped for the Galaxy S22

Samsung is preparing to launch the brand new Exynos 2200 processor, integrated with AMD’s powerful GPU and supporting ray tracing technology. This processor promises to be equipped for the upcoming Galaxy S22 smartphone series, in addition, the S22 will also be equipped with the first DDR5X RAM in the smartphone industry.

Today, Samsung has officially launched LPDDR5X RAM memory. According to Samsung, this new generation of RAM will bring outstanding speed, capacity and power savings to future mobile devices.

LPDDR5X is up to 30% faster and 20% more power efficient than the current LPDDR5, because the new modules are manufactured on the 14nm process. The 16GB LPDDR5X chips can be stacked, to form a module with capacities up to 64GB.

This LPDDR5X RAM memory will be equipped by Samsung for the Galaxy S22 series, but it is not clear how many GB the module will use. Equipped with a new generation processor and RAM, the Galaxy S22 promises to become a monster in terms of performance, as well as battery life.
