LG launches True Wireless headphones with self-sterilizing charging case, 18-hour battery, sold in July

Today, LG has launched a new true wireless headset model, fully called Tone Free HBS-FN6. This product is equipped with audio technology from Meridian Audio, and comes with a UVnano charging case capable of self-cleaning and disinfecting headphones.

LG’s new Tone Free earphones use the in-ear design, instead of the “semi-open” style found on previous generations. This design promises to give users a more comfortable use feeling, even when wearing headphones continuously for long periods.

Besides, it also has the ability to create realistic sound and built-in noise cancellation feature from Meridian. This model does not have ANC, but according to LG, it can block most external noise. On the other hand, the headset also has Ambient Aware mode to help users listen to music while listening to the sound from the surroundings.

In addition to the main function of charging the headset, Tone Free HBS-FN6’s UVnano charging case also has the ability to use ultraviolet rays to disinfect, remove 99.9% of E. Coli and S. aureus bacteria from earplugs. silicon, and does not affect the inner diaphragm.

In terms of battery life, LG says the Tone Free HBS-FN6 headphones can play music continuously for 6 hours, increasing to 18 hours if used with a charging case. In addition, it can also extend the usage time up to 1 hour with just 5 minutes of charging.

LG’s new true wireless headphones are water resistant to IPX4 standards. Besides, it also supports touch control with gestures such as double tap to answer a call, touch to play / pause music player, press three times to play next song, press and hold one side to end the call or activate the voice assistant.

At the moment, LG has not revealed the price of Tone Free HBS-FN6. However, this model is expected to be sold in Europe and the US next month, comes with two color options are White and Black.
