Medical devices that support treatment here are either transferred from other health facilities, or completely new.

More than 7,000 construction workers worked day and night to complete Hoa Than Son, after that a series of workers and equipment continued to be transferred to Lei Than Son Hospital. Reportedly, technical drawings for two field hospitals in Wuhan were completed in just 60 hours by 60 designers.

In order to build field hospitals in a short time, the use of prefabricated architectural units is a prerequisite. They are called pre-engineered methods. The disease rooms are manufactured at the factory, then fully assembled and transported to drop in the right position.

“This construction technique is completely safe and secure,” said Thorsten Helbig, a structural engineer and co-founder of the German engineering company Knpers Helbig. “You can certainly create buildings using prefabricated methods without defects.”

Hoa Than Son Hospital has an area of ​​24,990 m2, a height of 2 floors. The hospital will have a special care room, general medicine room, as well as rooms for treating patients with serious illness, infection control, and screening room.

Because the new corona virus is highly infectious from person to person, Hoa Than Son Hospital has a dedicated ventilation system to ensure patients here are completely isolated.

According to the engineer, with units assembled in factory-controlled environments, designers and construction engineers can troubleshoot every problem and ensure all the module blocks work. Move together before they are put to practice.

On the other hand, the construction of traditional buildings must depend on the weather conditions and the coordination of different contractors who work on different aspects of the project. Around the world, many large buildings such as the Citizen M hotel chain or Marriott all use this pre-built method of construction in the overall construction plan.

In the theory of the five elements (fire, water, wood, metal, earth), “Fire Spirit” is related to the element “fire”. In a reciprocal relationship, metallurgical fire (fire can heat, melt metal). According to traditional medicine, the lungs are again metallic elements. In one interpretation, the name “Fire Spirit” implies that fire will destroy the new strain of corona virus that is attacking the lungs.

It is known that each hospital room in Hoa Than Son field hospital will be equipped with double-sided cabinets connecting the patient room and the corridor. From the other side, medical staff can open the box and place it in medical equipment without having to enter the room. The doctors and nurses inside can then open the box to get medical supplies.

Each room is also equipped with an infrared scanner, which checks the body temperature and gives an alert if any medical personnel show signs of fever. Notably, self-propelled robots are also used in hospitals to transport drugs and test samples for testing.
