“The Language Training and Development Agency is able to turn Indonesian language into the common language of Southeast Asia” – quoted Minister Nadiem Makarim at the meeting on Thursday.

If you want to make this dream come true, Indonesia’s 35-year-old minister said it needs to make “language improvements” through learning and applying other languages and cultures into Indonesian, thus forming a bridge between Indonesian and other countries.

Of course, Mr. Nadiem Makarim himself found this dream very difficult to come true: “I’m not sure we can achieve this goal, but we need to dare to dream big.”

He also believes that if this becomes a reality, it will help Indonesia’s position to rise highly in Southeast Asia, as well as around the world.

“Everyone please wait and see,” said Nadiem.
