Huawei President apologized to all employees and the online community for his act of helping his daughter to participate in showbiz

Specifically, according to Tech Planet , on January 25, 2021, under the direction of Mr. Nham, Huawei Group submitted an application for trademark registration of business names including: Dieu An Na, Dieu Tu Vi (name real name of An Na), Yao Anna’s phonetic name, Yao Siwei and English name Annabel Yao. Trademark registration is said to pave the way for both the business and the entertainment industry of “Huawei princess”. This registration process is still in progress.

In the official explanation, the Chairman apologized to all Huawei employees and the public concerned. He explained that because current Chinese law stipulates that if you want to register a private trademark, you must be a legal person or an individual with a business registration license, but Yao An Na does not meet this requirement.

Mr. Nham asked the Intellectual Property division of the company to register his household and then transferred to Dieu An Na’s personal office. The chairman also affirmed that all related expenses will be paid by his daughter’s side, not Huawei’s money.
