High-tech integrated factory of TCL has completed phase I

TCL has been present in Vietnam since 1999 with a manufacturing and assembly plant in Dong Nam with an area of ​​31,000 m2, of which the construction area is 19,000 m2. The total number of employees and workers is 250 with a production capacity of 300,000 units / year. After more than 20 years of development, TCL has started construction of a new factory from February 2019 in Binh Duong with the total demand of smart electronics products in the country and surrounding areas. an area of ​​up to 72,900 m2.

In particular, the construction area of ​​phase I is 28,000m2 with the total number of employees and workers up to 900 people. The new factory divided the construction plan into two phases with a total investment of over US $ 53.56 million. The production capacity in Phase I averages 3 million units / year and is expected to be higher than this 3 million after the expansion of the construction area of ​​Phase II. This will be one of the largest scale TV production facilities in the investment chain of factories in Southeast Asia, with the most complete digital assembly line fully equipped with modern features, including production line control room, automatic circuit board and automation screen assembly chain and ERP, MES, WMS technical management management system.

The plant is expected to supply products to Vietnam, Southeast Asia, India and also the US and European markets to meet the growing demand for high quality TVs.

The factory was built on a large scale and is located in VSIP II Industrial Park – Vietnam – Singapore, Binh Duong Province. This move is the foundation of the company's long-term commitment to the Vietnamese market, demonstrating Vietnam's strategic position in TCL's global development as a regional manufacturing center.
