Facebook, Google is no longer a dream workplace

The two US tech giants are no longer on the list of the 10 best workplaces in the US, according to Glassdoor's annual ranking. HubSpot, the cloud computing software company, won the No. 1 position.

Facebook, 3 times rated as the best workplace in the past 10 years, ranked 23. This is the lowest position of the social network since 2011. In 2018, the company ranked 7th.

The ranking of Google, Apple is 11, 84, while Amazon for 12 consecutive years is not on the list. Microsoft is the only technology company to increase the rank. Software companies increased from 34 to 21.

The annual ranking is based on the evaluation of employees on such aspects as salary, bonus, culture, senior management. Many large companies like Facebook and Google have been criticized recently for a variety of issues. In some cases, staff members also speak out against leadership decisions.

At Google, employees protested on a variety of topics such as policies against boss sexual harassment complaints, defense contracts, and censorship development plans for China. According to an internal survey conducted by Bloomberg, fewer employees found inspiration from CEO Sundar Pichai than before. They also do not have faith that high-end apparatus will lead them to success in the future.

At Facebook, despite offering many incentives such as free meals, transportation, laundry, employees also oppose some policies such as not checking the truth in political advertising.
