ASUS 8z launched: iPhone 13 mini of the Android world

ASUS recently introduced a new smartphone called ASUS 8z in the Indian market. Basically, this machine seems to be a renamed version of Zenfone 8 launched in the international market last year because from design to hardware configuration, ASUS 8z is no different from Zenfone 8. And because it has been stripped of the right to use the “Zenfone” name in India, smartphones of the Zenfone series launched in this country will be omitted the “Zenfone” name.

In terms of appearance, as mentioned, the ASUS 8z has an identical design to the Zenfone 8. The machine has a glass back, metal frame. The overall is quite small due to having a screen of only 5.9 inches.

ASUS 8z is equipped with a Super AMOLED screen, Full HD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and high brightness. This screen is also protected by high-grade Gorilla Glass Victus. ASUS equips a 12MP “mole” selfie camera located in the left corner of the screen. In addition, this screen also integrates an optical fingerprint sensor.

ASUS 8z has dual cameras on the back, including a 64MP wide-angle camera that supports OIS optical stabilization and a 12MP ultra-wide angle with a viewing angle of 112 degrees.

In terms of performance, ASUS 8z is equipped with Snapdragon 888 chip, not the most powerful chip, but still a powerful enough chip to smoothly fight “max setting” for almost all popular games today. The device has 8GB RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage memory. The included battery has a capacity of 4000mAh, supporting 30W fast charging. In addition, this machine also supports IP68 waterproof standard.

ASUS 8z will be available in India with 2 color options, black and silver, with a list price of INR 42,999, equivalent to VND 12.9 million.
