Apple CEO Tim Cook is set to appear at a new technology conference hosted by The Wall Street Journal this October called WSJDLive.

Apple executives including Steve Jobs have appeared at past “D” conferences hosted by former WSJ employees Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher. WSJDLive appears to be a continuation of sorts of those conferences, although Mossberg and Swisher since left to form Recode.net and have also hosted Apple executives at the site’s new “Code Conference” in May.

Other guests scheduled to appear at WSJDLive next month include former Google executive and VP of Xiaomi Hugo Barra, Jack Ma of Alibaba, and executives from Microsoft, Huawei, SoundCloud, Waze, Universal Music Group, and many others.

The WSJDLive conference where Tim Cook is set to appear will take place October 27th through October 29th, the same days the next Code Conference, dubbed Code/Mobile, is scheduled for. Apple VP Greg Joswiak was previously announced as a guest for the inaugural “Code/Mobile” conference next month. The WSJDLive event is invitation-only, and there’s no info on whether or not any interviews will be available to stream or watch following the event.
