Xiaomi has just launched the Mi Cloud cloud data storage package with a duration of up to 60 years. Allow users to have 200GB of space to store data, and can say is lifetime. A strange business strategy for Xiaomi, where most other cloud data storage services only have a month or a year.
Mi Cloud’s long-term packages have two options, either 10 years or 60 years. And also divided into two types of members are gold and platinum. As follows:
Platinum members (with 200GB of storage): 10-year package for 639 yuan (92 USD); 60-year package costs 1,599 yuan (230 USD).
Gold members (with 50GB of storage): 10-year package priced at 199 yuan ($ 29); 60-year package for 499 yuan (72 USD).
Besides, Mi Cloud also has short-term packages, lasting 1/3/6 months and a year. As of 2019, there are 291 million MIUI users, and Mi Cloud appears by default on Xiaomi smartphones.
