Vsmart next smartphone is exposed with retractable camera, screen without “defects”

Recently, a Delicate forum member shared an image of the supposed Vsmart Active 3. This will be the successor to Vsmart Active 1 / Active 1+ that was launched in late 2018.

Let’s first talk about the name “Vsmart Active 3”. A few days ago, VinSmart officially announced the cheap smartphone Vsmart Bee 3. The remarkable point of Bee 3 is in its name, when VinSmart has “leapfrogged” from Bee to Bee 3 and skip Bee 2. Explaining this, VinSmart said “Bee 3 is the first phone in Vsmart’s 3rd generation series”. That would also be why the successor to Active 1 + 1 would be “Active 3” rather than “Active 2”.

Leaked images show that Vsmart Active 3 will have a selfie camera (pop-up). This is a design that has been applied by some brands such as Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo, Huawei on their products. The advantage of a recessed camera is that it will help the screen of the device become completely, not being swept by the camera – which means no “rabbit ears”, no “water drops”, no “defects”.

Not only the front, but also the back design of Vsmart Active 3 also leaked. Thereby, the machine will have a cluster of 3 cameras with a flash with a layout quite similar to Huawei P30 Pro.

We can also see the presence of the fingerprint sensor on the back of Active 3. When the previous Vsmart Live model had integrated the fingerprint sensor under the screen, the Active 3 returned to the fingerprint sensor. Traditional hands will probably make some people feel down. But, after negative reviews of Vsmart Live’s in-display fingerprint sensor, perhaps the traditional Active 3 fingerprint sensor will be good news for users.

Finally, it is impossible to ignore the gradient colors with the typical Vsmart logo, reinforcing the fact that this is actually a product of Vsmart.

Currently, VinSmart has not confirmed the launch time of Active 3. But with the first model of Vsmart’s 3rd generation product line, Bee 3, has been released, perhaps users will not have to wait long.
