Yesterday (16/12), Vivo launched two new X-series smartphones in an event held in China. The duo, called Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro, are both 5G smartphones and are also the first Vivo devices to feature Exynos 980 processors from Samsung.
Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro have identical designs, with a perforated screen with a "mole" in the upper right corner and a diameter of 2.98mm. They are covered with glass on both sides, there are 3 color options are Black, Pink and Blue.
Vivo X30 Pro
Vivo X30 is equipped with a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED screen, supporting Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels). It has a fingerprint sensor built below the screen and also supports face unlock.
These are the first two Vivo phones to run the Exynos 980 chipset, Samsung's first processor with a 5G modem built in and co-developed with Vivo. The chip has a total of 8 cores, including 2 Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. Both devices have 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage options.
Exynos 980 supports dual 5G network connection (SA and NSSA), with download speeds of up to 2.55Gbps. Besides, it also supports 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 5.8GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro duo come with a 4350mAh battery, which supports fast charging of 33W Flash Charge via the USB Type-C connector. Both phones have liquid cooling technology, run FunTouchOS 10 interface based on Android 9 Pie operating system and have Multi-Turbo 2.5 feature built in.

Talking about the camera, this is the biggest difference between Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro. Specifically, the standard version is equipped with a 3-camera system on the back, including the main sensor 64MP f / 1.8 focal length 26.4mm, super wide-angle sensor 8MP aperture f / 2.2 with 16mm focal length and viewing angle. 112 degrees, 32MP f / 2.0 depth sensor with 50mm focal length.
It has Super Night Scene Mode 2.0, which reduces multi-frame noise and allows for brighter, more detailed night photography. The device supports up to 20x zoom and this is a support from the algorithm. According to Vivo, it is possible to combine the main sensor and depth sensor to take pictures of the moon with high detail density.

As for the X30 Pro, the phone also has a 64MP main camera on the back with the same f / 1.8 aperture and 26.4mm focal length. However, the 8MP f / 2.2 ultra wide-angle sensor has a viewing angle of up to 122 degrees, while the 32MP f / 2.0 depth sensor has a 50mm focal length. In addition, the machine also added a 13MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom located right, located on the LED flash.
Vivo X30 Pro
The periscope lens allows Vivo X30 Pro to zoom up to 60x, 3 times the standard variant. Of course, it also comes with all the other features available on the Vivo X30 that we mentioned above. Both phones have 32MP selfie cameras with f / 2.45 aperture.
Price and release time
Vivo X30 is expected to go on sale from December 28 with a starting price of 3298 yuan (about 10.9 million) for the 128GB version. Meanwhile, the 256GB memory version will cost slightly higher and at 3598 yuan (about 11.9 million).
As for Vivo X30 Pro, the device is expected to go on sale from December 24 and will start at 3998 yuan (about 13.3 million dong) for a 128GB version. The price that users have to pay to own the 256GB version of internal memory is 4298 yuan (equivalent to 14.2 million).
