vivo launches flagship X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro+: 1-inch camera, Dimensity 9200/Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, priced from VND 12.9 million

vivo recently introduced a trio of new high-end smartphones of the X-series in the Chinese market, including vivo X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro +, of which 2 low-cost versions are equipped with Dímensity 9200 chip and Pro + version is equipped with Dímensity 9200 chip and Pro + version. vivo X90 and X90 Pro

vivo X90 and X90 Pro are basically quite similar, from appearance to hardware parameters. Both are equipped with a new design with a glass back or leatherette (depending on the color version), a solid metal frame. The screens of both are also 6.67 inches, using 10-bit AMOLED panels with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 approximately QHD +, with a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen has a curved design on both sides, equipped with an optical fingerprint sensor and a 32MP selfie camera.

The performance of vivo X90 and X90 Pro is also on par thanks to MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9200 chip. The device has 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB storage memory and all support 120W fast charging.

The difference between the standard version and the Pro version comes from the camera system. vivo X90 has a 3 main camera system including 50MP IMX866 wide-angle camera, 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 2X 12MP telephoto camera all using IMX663 sensors. Meanwhile, the Pro version has a 1-inch 50.3MP IMX989 camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2X 50MP telephoto camera. Both are equipped with the vivo V2 image processing chip to support better low-light shooting and video recording and cooperate with Zeiss to improve lens quality.

In terms of battery life, vivo X90 comes with a 4810mAh battery, while the Pro version is 4870mAh. As mentioned, both support 120W wired charging, but the Pro version supports 50W fast wireless charging.

The starting price of vivo X90 and X90 Pro in China is 3699 yuan and 4999 yuan, respectively, equivalent to VND 12.9 million and VND 17.4 million.

vivo X90 Pro+

The most advanced version of this year’s X90 series equipped with the most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset has just been introduced by Qualcomm at the new Snapdragon Summit 2022 event held a few days ago. This chip is developed on the 4nm process, for outstanding performance and improved energy efficiency.

vivo X90 Pro+ has an advanced camera system, including a 1-inch 50MP IMX989 wide-angle camera, a 48MP IMX598 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2X 50MP IMX758 telephoto camera and a 64MP 3.5X periscope telephoto camera with up to 100X hybrid zoom. Except for the ultra-wide-angle camera, all the remaining 3 lenses have OIS integrated. The device has an additional 32MP selfie camera on the front and vivo V2 imaging chip. vivo also partnered with Zeiss to improve lens quality.

vivo also equips vivo X90 Pro + with a 6.78-inch screen, using a 10-bit LTPO4 AMOLED panel, 1440 x 3200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits brightness. This screen is a curved screen on both sides, integrated with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

vivo X90 Pro+ has 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage. The battery has a capacity of 4700mAh, supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.

The starting price of vivo X90 Pro + in the Chinese market is 6499 yuan, equivalent to 22.6 million.
