VinFast announces VF 6 and VF 7 specifications: A full charge runs 399km and 450km

At the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2023 taking place in Las Vegas, VinFast announced detailed specifications of two electric SUV models VF 6 – VF 7, and announced that it would open reservations as early as March 2023. These are two models of the BC segment, belonging to the high-quality electric car range that was launched last year.

The VF 6 and VF 7 were designed by world-renowned car designer Torino Design. Both models will be available in Eco and Plus versions.

In particular, the VF 6 Eco has a maximum travel distance for a target full charge of 248 miles (according to WLTP standards), a maximum capacity of 130kW combined with a maximum torque of 250Nm.

The Plus version has a maximum travel distance for a target full charge of 237 miles (according to WLTP standards), a maximum capacity of 150kW with a maximum torque of 310Nm. Utilities and intelligent entertainment applications in the car will be displayed on a 12.9-inch touch screen.

The VF 7 Eco has a maximum travel distance for a target full charge of 280 miles (according to WLTP standards), a maximum capacity of 150kW with a maximum torque of 310Nm, a 12.9-inch touch screen.

The Plus version has a maximum target range of 268 miles (according to WLTP standards), a maximum capacity of 260kW with a maximum torque of 500Nm, a 15-inch screen. In particular, in addition to the optimal size, the VF 7 Plus has an AWD drive system that helps increase mobility and a solid driving feeling for the user.

In terms of technology, VF 6 and VF 7 will both be able to be equipped with ADAS level 2 features for all Eco and Plus versions and modern features such as virtual assistants, mobile applications – C- app…

Up to now, one year after announcing the pure electric strategy at CES 2022, VinFast has announced the design details and specifications of 4 electric vehicle models in the most popular BCDE segments. In particular, the VF 8 model of the D segment has been handed over to customers from September 2022 in Vietnam and the VF 8 City Edition model will also be delivered in January 2023 in the US market.
