VAIO launches a special laptop to celebrate the brand’s 5th anniversary

VAIO has quietly launched a special edition of VAIO SX12 in Hong Kong, called “Kachi-iro”. This laptop is inspired by traditional Samurai colors, combining indigo and navy blue, as well as gold accents to create a feeling of luxury and premium.

The VAIO SX12 Kachi-iro is a product to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the VAIO brand. According to the Japanese manufacturer, the special color used is a symbol of pride and like a cherry, indigo will bring luck to laptop users, just like what it used to bring. for the once legendary Samurai warriors.

In terms of specifications, VAIO SX12 is equipped with a 12.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution, possessing hardware power from Intel’s Core i5-8265U and Core i7-8565U processors. The device has an aluminum and stainless steel body, a backlit keyboard, a single cooling fan and weighs just 899 grams.

This laptop has two options of 8GB and 16GB RAM, as well as 256GB or 512GB NVMe SSD storage. It comes with a 24Wh battery, supports PD fast charging and can meet the needs of continuous use up to 12.25 hours after each full charge.

In terms of connectivity, the VAIO SX12 is integrated with USB-C, VGA, HDMI, RJ-45 network port and SD memory card reader.

Last but not least, when buying VAIO SX12 Kachi-iro version, users will be provided with a special “Ultrasuede” cleaning cloth, manufactured on Toray technology of Japan. Of course, this cloth will have the familiar VAIO logo on the front.
