Leak expert OnLeaks recently posted renders of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro duo, revealing the new design language of the Xiaomi flagship series that is about to launch later this year.

Accordingly, the standard version Xiaomi 13 will have a square border design and a flat screen, not a curved screen like its predecessor. The flat screen design with square borders makes users think of iPhone models.

OnLeaks said that the Xiaomi 13 will have an overall size of 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm, which is 8.3 mm thick, if including the main camera cluster, it will be 10.3 mm. The render image shows that the device will have a white color option, but there may also be many other options.

The screen of Xiaomi 13 will use a “mole” design with a selfie camera placed in the middle. The specifications of this screen have not been revealed, but we can confirm that this will be an OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Unlike Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro has a curved screen design similar to its predecessor. The difference comes from the redesigned main camera system on the back. This camera cluster is expected to integrate a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor similar to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, accompanied by a 50MP periscope super wide-angle and telephoto camera.

The Pro version has dimensions of 163.0 x 74.6 x 8.8mm, including the camera protrusion, the device is 11.8mm thick. This size is almost similar to Xiaomi 12 Pro. The device will have a slightly smaller 6.65-inch screen compared to its predecessor, equipped with an OLED panel with QHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of performance, OnLeaks said that both Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro versions will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Other parameters about this product duo have not been disclosed yet.

About the launch time, Xiaomi 13 is expected to be released this November, or December as usual.
