According to the latest WinFuture report, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be optimized to play Xbox games through Microsoft’s xCloud service. As a result, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra may become an Xbox Phone.

The two giants Samsung and Microsoft have become quite friendly in the past year. At the Galaxy Note 10 launch event last August, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella appeared on stage to announce the partnership between the two companies. Samsung also preinstalled Microsoft apps like My Phone, Office, LinkedIn and OneDrive on Galaxy Note 10.

Microsoft will also partner with Samsung in a cloud gaming service, called Project xCloud. Accordingly, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones will be able to play games on the Xbox’s console platform without any supporting equipment. There will be more than 90 Xbox games that can be played on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, when this smartphone launches.

The difference between Project xCloud and other cloud gaming services like GeForce Now or Google Stadia is that users will not need to spend money to buy games. Now, by buying a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphone and paying a monthly fee, it means that you already own an Xbox console for comfortable gaming.

WinFuture also revealed that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will have a 6.9-inch screen, a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels and a frequency of 120Hz. It is also the first smartphone to be equipped with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7.

The new S Pen stylus on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will also be improved, with a delay of only 9 ms. In addition, this pen will also have a new cursor mode, no need to touch the pen to the screen, but just point the pen to the screen to control.
