iPrice Group has just released e-commerce map data in quarter 2/2019. Accordingly, the top e-commerce sites continue to reduce traffic and are the second consecutive quarter of decline.

Leading the way is Shopee, with 38.6 million visits. This is the fourth quarter in a row that Shopee is ranked No.1 in the rankings. Following are Tiki and Lazada respectively.

Notably, while the traffic of other sites decreased slightly, Sen Do alone had the fourth consecutive quarter of growth, reaching 28 million, approaching Lazada and surpassing the Mobile World.

At the beginning of July, Lazada appointed Mr. James Dong to the position of Managing Director for Lazada Vietnam instead of Mr. Max Zhang, who only held this position for over a year. Mr. James Dong currently holds the position of CEO for Thailand Lazada. In Thailand, according to data of iPrice Insights, Lazada continuously leads the web traffic, leaving quite a bit away from the Thai Shopee. With this new appointment Lazada expects the new CEO to help bring their success in Thailand to the Vietnamese market.

For Mobile World, compared to the end of 2017 early 2018, traffic to this website has decreased by 35%. Traffic to the Mobile World dropped sharply in the context of the assessed mobile phone market. The Gioi Di Dong itself is constantly closing down stores and revenue has almost gone flat.

On the ranking of smartphone devices, the top 4 names are all the largest e-commerce floors today: Shopee, Tiki, Red Lotus and Lazada.

Notably, the e-commerce map of iPrice has appeared as Voso.vn. This is the page of Viettel Post Corporation, which was launched in early July and has been tested several months ago. IPrice Insights’s report noted that in June, Voso.vn website traffic has increased 12 times compared to May.

The advantage of Voso.vn can be found in the existing transport system of Viettel Post with the potential customer community from 50 million Viettel mobile subscribers and 2.5 million ViettelPay users.
