The “Make in Vietnam Digital Product” Award 2021 is about to be launched

After the success of the “Make in Vietnam Digital Products” Award for the first time, today, June 7, 2021, the Minister of Information and Communications signed Decision No. 771/QD-BTTTT on the issuance of the Decision No. issued the Regulations for the “Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product” Award in 2021, paving the way for the organization of this Award this year.

This is the second year the Awards are held to honor excellent digital technology products designed, created and manufactured in Vietnam and have great practical value recognized in the development of the digital economy. Digital government and digital society. It is expected that on June 18, 2021, the Ministry of Information and Communications will hold a press conference to launch the Award.

The “Make in Vietnam Digital Product” award in 2021 will remain unchanged in 5 categories: Excellent digital platform; Excellent digital products; Excellent digital solutions; Narrowing the digital gap; Potential digital products.

In addition, the “Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product” award in 2021 also has changes compared to the previous year.

In 2021, there are awards: Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for 04 categories of Excellent Digital Platform; Excellent digital products; Excellent digital solutions; Narrow the number gap. Particularly for the category of Potential Digital Products, it is only applicable to participating units that are non-business organizations, small and medium-sized enterprises or innovative start-ups, and only the Top 10 will be announced. The plan is to invite leaders of the Party, State and Government to award prizes to enterprises with high prizes.

Honored products will have to satisfy two main groups of criteria, namely design, creativity in Vietnam and practical value. In the “Actual Value” criteria group, the score structure related to revenue, the number of users is 40 (about 70%). The award also encourages digital technology products of small and medium enterprises and innovative start-ups in the category of Potential Digital Products.

Time to receive registrations and applications for the Award from June 20, 2021 to the end of September 20, 2021, 1 month longer than the 2020 Award. For the process of considering and awarding this year’s Awards, at the preliminary stage, the Subcommittees of the Jury Council organized to score the applications that met the criteria through the pre-qualification round, selecting 12 dossiers with the highest scores. the highest of each Award category.
