Scores Samsung’s impressive audio-visual technology products at CES 2020

The CES 2020 exhibition opens in the early days of the new decade and is also the “opening” for the latest technological achievements of Korean technology giant Samsung.

This year at CES 2020, Samsung brought a lot of new technology products and trends for the first time. However, the most impressive is probably the 8K TV series, TV Sero can rotate horizontally or vertically arbitrarily.

TV 8K Q950TS – New competitor in the market of 8K TV

Samsung brings to CES 2020 the 8K Q950TS TV series. The highlight of this TV is the ultra-thin bezel that makes it almost impossible to distinguish the boundaries of the TV from the surrounding environment.

According to Samsung, the Samsung Q950TS TV has a 99% screen-to-body ratio. That means only 1% is for the border and viewers will not be able to recognize its 2mm thick rim until it stands near.

The majority of TVs on the market today only have the maximum screen ratio up to 95%. The thickness of this TV is also very respectable, only about 14.9mm and completely flat back.

Like the Infinity Display on smartphones, Samsung also calls this novel design the Infinity Screen. As for picture quality, there’s no question that this TV has a resolution of up to 8K. In addition, the Q950TS also supports 100% DCI-P3 color space display and a maximum brightness of 4000 nit, something not many 8K TVs currently do.

Finally, thanks to the Quantum Processor 8K, images delivered to viewers will always be the sharpest 8K quality.

Samsung Sero – TV can rotate horizontally arbitrary

We may already be familiar with computer monitors that can turn around. But with a TV, this is even more interesting. And Samsung brought to CES 2020 such a product.

Samsung Sero TV is in Samsung’s Lifestyle TV category. Sero in Korean means “upright”. The Sero has a special stand, which makes it possible to rotate the screen 90 degrees to facilitate surfing Facebook, Instagram or TikTok videos.

Despite the limited size of the 43-inch version and the selling price of up to $ 1.6 thousand, Samsung Sero is a TV worth a try. Although this TV was launched in South Korea last year, Samsung is ready to sell this product to international markets right in 2020.

The Frame and The Wall – The hero returns

For those who have had the opportunity to follow CES 2018 and 2019, it is impossible to forget the familiar TV series The Frame and The Wall.

If The Frame (TV picture frame) is a picture to adorn your home space more poetic, The Wall is the ultimate makeover if mounted on the wall. MicroLED The Wall TV uses modules that contain LED bulbs smaller than the LED screen, combined with a large pixel density to produce extremely detailed, true-to-life and good depth images. Samsung’s The Frame TV line is available in 43, 49, 55 and 65 inches versions. Meanwhile, The Wall has a large selection of screens such as 75, 88, 93 and 110 inches. There are also a number of new 150-inch microLED TV options with an ultra-thin bezel design, which makes the viewer no longer distinguish the surrounding space.

The duo of gaming screens Odyssey G9 and G7

Visitors to CES 2020 will definitely not forget the pair of Odyssey G7 and G9 gaming monitors from Samsung. Both models have curved screen designs with extremely wide viewing angles, particularly impressive parameters such as 240Hz refresh rate and G-Sync synchronization technology support.

The difference between these two models is probably only in size when the Odyssey G9 has a 49-inch screen, a 32: 9 ratio with the world’s first 1000R curvature. The Odyssey G7 is only available in 27-inch and 32-inch versions. In addition, the G9 has a maximum brightness of up to 1000 nit while the G7 is only 600 nit. The remaining parameters are similar.
