Samsung launches Solve for Tomorrow 2023 program to continue to arouse the creativity of young people

On April 12 at the campus of Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Samsung officially kicked off season 5 of the Solve for Tomorrow 2023 contest with the message “Confirm youth, create the future”. This is a playground aimed at middle and high school students, helping young people access STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) professionally.
“Participating in STEM helps the young generation access the latest advances in science and technology, thereby contributing to the country’s sustainable development. Samsung is committed to always supporting and accompanying young people in the process of acquiring STEM knowledge, developing creativity and solving problems in all aspects of life,” said Mr. Choi Joo Ho – General Director of Samsung. Vietnam shared. This year, the contest is also honored to receive support from the Ministry of Education & Training, the Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism through the presence of important delegates at the event.
Coming to season 5, Solve for Tomorrow has a total prize pool increased to 8 billion VND and expanded the size of the contest to 2 times, aiming to attract about 150,000 students to attend. The contest will be held from April 12, 2023 to the end of November 11, 2023 and is divided into two groups: group A for middle school students, and group B for high school students.
The prize structure for each panel includes: 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 3 Third Prizes, 5 Prospect Awards, and 1 Voting Prize. In addition, the school with the team that won the First Prize will be sponsored by Samsung with 01 Functional Classroom – STEM Lab. The participating students will apply their knowledge of science and technology to find solutions to social problems related to four areas: Society, Environment, Education, Health and Health.
Rules and details of Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2023
Solve for Tomorrow program was officially initiated by Samsung since 2010, pursuing the goal and practical vision of education, the program has been well received by the community and scaled up year by year, so far it has attracted nearly 2 million students participate in 33 countries and territories. In addition to being a playground for technological innovation, the program also demonstrates the social responsibility that Samsung pursues: “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People” (Together for Tomorrow! Empowering Everyone).
In Vietnam, after 4 seasons, the contest has attracted tens of thousands of students who are passionate about technology. In the year 2022 alone, Solve for Tomorrow received 76,000 registered students and teachers and received 1,160 entries.
Not only is it a competition with opportunities to rub shoulders with valuable rewards, Solve for Tomorrow is also an opportunity for students to participate in an online training course, receive guidance from a team of expert advisors. Senior subjects are experts and employees of Samsung. Since then, Solve for Tomorrow brings to the future generations of Vietnam sustainable values.
This year, with the expansion of both scale and influence, Solve for Tomorrow 2023 is expected to become one of the largest technology playgrounds for students aged 12-18 in the country.
