Samsung launched Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s: 6.5 inch screen, 5000mAh battery, price from 4.1 million

Samsung has just launched two new mid-range smartphones, called Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s. Both of these phones will go on sale next year, being the first members of the Galaxy A (2021) lineup.

Starting with the Galaxy A12 , this is considered the successor to the Galaxy A11 that Samsung introduced in March, bringing some significant improvements in the camera and battery capacity. The device comes with a 5000mAh battery, larger than the 4000mAh battery of the A11 and also supports 15W fast charging.

Galaxy A11 has 3 cameras on the back with 13MP main sensor, 5MP ultra wide angle camera and 2MP depth. Although the wide-angle and depth camera remains the same, on the Galaxy A12, the 13MP main sensor has been replaced by a 48MP camera and a 2MP macro camera added, bringing the total number of rear cameras to 4.

The phone is equipped with a slightly larger 6.5-inch screen, supports HD + resolution and has an 8MP selfie camera. Inside, it has the hardware power coming from MediaTek’s Helio P35 processor, combined with optional 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB internal storage, expandable with a microSD card. up to 1TB.

Galaxy A12 is integrated fingerprint sensor on the side, there are 4 color options are White, Red, Black and Blue. As expected, Galaxy A12 will be available on the market from January 1/2021. Currently, the price of the 32GB ROM version is unknown, but the 64GB and 128GB ROM versions are priced at 179 Euro (about 4.9 million VND) and 199 Euro (about 5.5 million VND).

For Galaxy A02s , this is considered an upgraded version of the Galaxy A01 that Samsung introduced in December of last year. The device has a 6.5-inch screen with HD + resolution, uses Snapdragon 450 processor, has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of memory, allowing storage expansion via microSD card up to 1TB.

Moving to the back, Galaxy A02s is equipped with a 3-camera system arranged vertically and placed in a rectangular module. The rear camera cluster of the machine includes a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

Galaxy A02s comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging, which can be considered as one of the “worthwhile” upgrades when compared to the 3000mAh battery of the Galaxy A01. Unfortunately, the phone doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor.

As expected, Samsung will start selling Galaxy A02s from February 2021 for 150 Euro (about 4.1 million). The device also has 4 color versions for users to choose from, including White, Blue, Red and Black.
