Redmi K30i 5G launched: Snapdragon 765G, 4 48MP rear cameras, 30W fast charging, priced at VND 6.2 million

Redmi – Xiaomi’s sub-brand has just quietly launched a new smartphone model in China, full name is Redmi K30i 5G. The phone has the same design as the Redmi K30 5G that was introduced late last year. However, it also comes with a few hardware changes, of which the biggest difference is the rear camera.

Technical data

Redmi K30i 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen, supports Full HD + resolution, HDR10 and has a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and has low blue light certification from TUV Rheinland.

Inside, the device possesses the power of hardware comes from Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 765G processor, combined with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and has 128GB of UFS 2.1 standard memory. It comes with a 4500mAh battery, supports 30W fast charging through USB-C port.

Moving to the back, the Redmi K30i 5G carries a vertically arranged 4-camera system and is placed in a quite unique circular module. The rear camera cluster includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 5MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.

By comparison, it can be seen that the main sensor on the Redmi K30i 5G has been reduced to 48MP, lower than the 64MP sensor on the K30 5G. Meanwhile, the remaining 3 sensors of the rear camera cluster remain.

Redmi K30i 5G has a 20MP dual selfie camera (main sensor) + 2MP (depth sensor) placed in the “mole” section on the front. It comes pre-installed with Android 10 operating system with MIUI 11 interface when sold, supports 2 SIMs, dual frequency GPS, Hi-Res Audio and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Price and release time

It is expected that the Redmi K30i 5G will begin shipping on June 2 with a retail price of 1899 yuan (about 6.2 million dong). The device has 4 color versions for users to choose, including Blue, Red, Purple and White.
