Redmi is about to launch a low-cost gaming smartphone, using the Helio G90T chip

Recently, MediaTek has officially launched two chips Helio G90 and Helio G90T focused on gaming. G90T can support 90Hz screen, 4 camera cluster with 64MP main camera and up to 10GB RAM. Meanwhile, the Helio G90 supports 60Hz screen, 3 cameras with 48MP main camera and supports up to 8GB of RAM.

Almost immediately afterwards, Xiaomi Global Vice President and General Manager of Xiaomi India confirmed on Twitter that they will soon launch a smartphone using G90T chip. Redmi CEO Lu Weibing also revealed that Redmi is developing a low-cost gaming smartphone using the Helio G90T chip.

Earlier this month, Redmi also confirmed that they are developing a smartphone with 4 rear cameras and among them the 64MP main camera. With the Helio G90T chip supporting 4 rear and 64MP main cameras, it is likely that these two smartphones are one and really worth looking forward to.

Recently, Redmi also revealed that they will hold an event in China next August. Besides the launch of two models with 40 and 70 inch screen sizes, many also believe that Redmi will present the world’s first 64MP camera smartphone, the name of this smartphone may be Redmi 7 Pro.

According to results on the AnTuTu and Geekbench benchmark pages, the Helio G90 has a higher score than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 chip.
