Realme launches a new low-cost smartphone duo: High-frequency screen, 5000mAh battery, new MediaTek chip, priced from 4.3 million

Today (September 9), Realme has just launched two new mid-range smartphones in India, called Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i. Both phones use MediaTek processors, have large batteries and the ability to expand RAM with up to 5GB of additional internal memory.

Starting with the Realme 8s 5G, this is the world’s first phone model to be equipped with the Dimensity 810 chip, which has a total of 8 CPU cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz and Mali-G57 GPU. The device comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal memory, which supports storage expansion via a microSD card slot.

Moving to the back, the Realme 8s 5G carries a 3-camera system placed in a rectangular module, including a 64MP sensor, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP black and white sensor. In addition, the device also has a 16MP camera on the front for selfies.

This phone has a 6.5-inch LCD screen, Full HD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The device comes with a 5000mAh battery, supports 33W fast charging via USB-C port. Regarding software, Realme 8s 5G comes pre-installed with Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 user interface when sold.

As expected, Realme 8s 5G will officially go on sale on September 13 with prices starting from 17999 Rupees (about 5.6 million) for 6GB RAM + 128GB memory version. The more advanced version with 8GB of RAM costs Rs 19999 (about VND 6.2 million). The product has 2 color options: Blue and Purple.

As for Realme 8i, this is the first smartphone equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G96 processor. It has two options of 4GB and 6GB RAM, 64GB and 128GB internal memory – expandable via microSD card.

The screen of Realme 8i has a size of 6.6 inches, Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. On the back, the device owns a 3-camera cluster with a 50MP main sensor, 2MP macro camera and 2MP black and white camera. In addition, it also has a 12MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling.

Realme 8i comes with a 5000mAh battery, but only supports 18W fast charging instead of 33W like Realme 8s 5G. The device is integrated with a fingerprint sensor on the side, pre-installed with Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 interface when sold.

As expected, Realme 8i will hit shelves on September 14 for 13999 Rupees (about 4.3 million VND) and 15999 Rupees (about 5 million VND) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM versions. . The device has two color options, Black and Purple.
