POCO M3 Pro 5G launched in Vietnam: Cheap 5G smartphone in the segment of VND 5 million

Recently, the POCO brand has launched the POCO M3 Pro 5G in Vietnam market after a short time of launching in Europe. This is an upgraded version of the standard POCO M3 launched around the end of last year. With the POCO M3 Pro, POCO wants to focus on 5G connectivity in the low-cost smartphone segment.

The first impression of the POCO M3 Pro 5G when looking at it is a somewhat different design. Similar to the standard version, POCO designed the main camera cluster of the M3 Pro 5G as prominently as possible.

However, in terms of parameters, this camera cluster has not changed compared to the standard version. The device still includes a cluster of 3 main cameras including 48MP f / 1.8 wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth camera. There is no telephoto camera or super wide-angle camera, a point that is quite unfortunate.

On the front, the screen is the most valuable upgrade on the M3 Pro 5G version because the refresh rate has been upgraded to 90Hz. According to POCO, the company has used DotDisplay DynamicSwitch screen technology, which allows to adjust the refresh rate between 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz and 30Hz depending on the content displayed on the screen.

The screen of POCO M3 Pro 5G has a size of 6.5 inches, using an IPS LCD panel with a “mole” design. This is also where the 8MP selfie camera is located. The fingerprint sensor of the device is located at the power button position, not below the screen.

In terms of performance, POCO M3 Pro 5G comes with the same MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chip as on Redmi Note 10 5G, a new chip built on the 7nm process, with 5G support, for relatively strong performance. in the segment with an AnTuTu performance score of around 250,000. The device is equipped with 4GB / 6GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB internal memory, using UFS 2.2 standard.

In terms of battery life, the Pro version will have a 5000mAh battery, lower than the 6000mAh capacity on the standard version, still supports 18W fast charging, comes with a 22.5W charger in the box. The device runs on MIUI 12.5 for POCO interface based on Android 11.

Regarding the selling price, POCO M3 Pro 5G will be available exclusively for 2 weeks (from June 6 to June 19) on Lazada e-commerce site with a list price of VND 5.49 million. On sale day 6/6 coming here, buyers will have the opportunity to own this machine at a reduced price of only 4.79 million VND.
