OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord – its first mid-range smartphone model in July last year. At the moment, the Chinese manufacturer is said to be developing a successor to this phone, called OnePlus Nord 2.
Recently, the famous leaker @OnLeaks has just posted a series of renders of the OnePlus Nord 2, thereby giving us a clearer look at the design of the device just before the launch date. These images are based on leaked CAD drawings, so the possibility that there will be some minor design changes in the final product is not excluded.
Looking at the series of renders, it can be seen that the OnePlus Nord 2 has a design language that is heavily inspired by the high-end OnePlus 9 smartphone line. The device is equipped with a flat screen with thin borders, a "mole" in the corner. upper left to house the selfie camera. On the back, the device has a rectangular camera cluster placed vertically with 3 sensors and LED flash.
The OnePlus Nord 2 has a volume up and down key on the left edge, as well as a power key and the signature alert slider on the right edge. The top edge of the device does not have any ports, while the bottom edge houses the SIM tray, USB Type-C port and external speaker. The device is said to have an overall dimensions of 160 x 73.8 x 8.11mm.
In terms of specifications, the OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and integrated fingerprint sensor under the screen. The phone will likely be equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 1200 processor, combined with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.

The cluster of three cameras on the back of the OnePlus Nord 2 includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor and a 2MP sensor. The device will have a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls, a 4500mAh battery and support for 30W or 65W fast charging. In terms of software, the device may come pre-installed with Android 11 operating system when sold.
