Although it will be a while before OnePlus officially launched its next generation of OnePlus 9, but only in the past 1 month, many information and leaked render images of the OnePlus 9 have been revealed. Even today, the actual images of this smartphone are posted publicly by a famous leaker.
Specifically, according to PhoneArena, the actual photos of OnePlus 9 were sent from an anonymous source and posted by leaker Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) on Twitter. From these images, we can see the OnePlus 9 has a design similar to what we’ve seen from previous CAD renderings.
According to the previous information, OnePlus will continue to launch at least 2 OnePlus 9 next year, including the standard version as we see above, the Pro version. Many sources also believe that there will be another OnePlus 9 SE, but this information has not been confirmed.
The standard version of the OnePlus 9 will continue to inherit almost the features that appeared on the new OnePlus 8T not long ago. The device will have a curved glass back on two sides with the main camera cluster placed in a rectangular module in the left corner. This is a popular design on the high-end to mid-range OnePlus lines in recent times since former co-founder Carl Pei officially left the company.
Regarding the main camera cluster, the machine will include 3 main cameras, most likely a 48MP wide-angle camera, super wide angle and a depth-measuring camera, next to the LED light, which means the machine has removed a main camera compared to OnePlus 8T. Because it is a prototype, the OnePlus logo in the center is replaced with another logo.
On the front, the OnePlus 9 will still be equipped with a 6.55 inch “mole” screen. This screen is a flat screen similar to the OnePlus 8T, not curved on both sides like the Pro version. In addition, this screen will also keep the parameters including Full HD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 20: 9 ratio and HDR support. Overall, the OnePlus 9’s notable changes come from the back design and internal hardware performance.
In terms of performance, the OnePlus 9 is said to come with next year’s most powerful flagship Snapdragon 888 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of memory. The device will also run on Android 11 platform with OxygenOS interface.
The OnePlus 9 is expected to be introduced in the first quarter of next year.
