Lenovo just launched its new affordable flagship smartphone, the Motorola Edge S, in the Chinese market.
Motorola Edge S is equipped with Snapdragon 870 processor, just launched by Qualcomm. This is an overclocked version of last year’s Snapdragon 865 Plus. 5G and Wi-Fi technology support 6. Memory options 6GB / 8GB, storage capacity 128GB / 256GB.
Motorola Edge S owns 6.7 inch LCD screen, 1080 × 2520 pixel resolution, 90Hz frequency tonnage and 21: 9 aspect ratio.
The rear camera cluster consists of a 64MP main sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a ToF sensor. Features 6K video recording and Audio Zoom, allowing you to track your subject’s sound and eliminate outside background noise.
The smartphone features a punch-hole dual selfie camera, a 16MP super wide-angle camera and an 8MP snapshot camera. This camera cluster also has a unique feature, which is heart rate monitoring by scanning the face, only takes 15 seconds to give results.
The battery capacity of Motorola Edge S is up to 5,000 mAh, but only supports 20W fast charging. The smartphone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Android 11 pre-installed.
Motorola Edge S is available in white and emerald green. Prices start at 1,999 yuan ($ 309) for the 6GB / 128GB version. The 8GB / 128GB versions are priced at 2,399 yuan ($ 371) and 8GB / 256GB are priced at 2,799 yuan ($ 432).
There is currently no information about the Motorola Edge S going to the international market. But if it does, the smartphone will be renamed Motorola G100.
