Many fake websites look up, issue and change driver’s licenses

The Ministry of Transport has just sent a document to the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Information and Communications, requesting assistance in handling fake websites for driving license electronic information.

According to the Ministry of Transport over the past time, on the Internet, many fake websites have appeared on the Internet to fake driver’s license electronic information pages managed by the Department of Roads.

The Ministry of Transport has sent four documents to the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Information and Communications to assist in preventing and handling fake websites.

Up to now, the fake websites have been prevented and promptly deleted by the ministries. However, on the Internet, other fake websites continue to appear with the same interface and content as the driver’s license electronic information page.

In order for people, society and related agencies not to be confused when looking up driver’s license data, and to limit the supply and use of fake driving licenses, the Ministry of Transport proposed the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Transport. The Ministry of Information and Communications continues to support the prevention and handling of fake websites on the driver’s license website.

At the same time, take measures to prevent similar fake websites from appearing in the future.
