MacBook Pro 16-inch “max option” version costs up to 140 million

At the “Unleashed” event held at dawn today (October 19), Apple launched a new MacBook Pro product line with a series of design changes. In addition, these models are also strongly upgraded in performance with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, but come with a much higher price than expected.

Specifically, the new 14-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,999 (about VND 45.5 million), while the 16-inch model is sold for $2,499 (~ VND 57 million). Like the previous generation, Apple also allows users to customize the amount of RAM, SSD storage and chipset depending on the model.

A 16-inch MacBook Pro “max option” will cost $ 6,099 (about 139 million), using the most advanced M1 Max chip with a 10-core CPU and 32-core GPU, 64GB of RAM and an 8TB SSD. Meanwhile, the amount that users have to spend for a 14-inch MacBook Pro with similar specifications is $ 5,899 (about VND 134 million).

The new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros are now open for pre-order on Apple’s official website, with delivery expected on October 26. However, in the case of ordering the “max option” MacBook Pro, users will have to wait until December to receive the device.
