In addition, MacRumous found a README file in an internal test version of iOS 13, describing a system called “StarBoard” for AR-enabled applications. The file also shows Apple is developing an augmented reality device (AR) codenamed “Garta”, possibly one of several prototype prototypes codenamed “T288”.

Previously, technology experts have speculated that Apple plans to release augmented reality glasses in early 2020 called Apple Glass.
