iPad Pro 2022 may be equipped with 3nm Apple M2 chip, support MagSafe charging with glass logo

In June, Bloomberg reported that the iPad Pro 2022 may have a glass back instead of an aluminum case, to support MagSafe wireless charging. However, the latest report has refuted this information and suggested that the iPad Pro 2022 will still use an aluminum case, but with a glass logo.

Accordingly, the all-glass back can make the iPad Pro more fragile. Therefore, Apple will probably only design the logo on the glass back with a larger size than before, to be able to support MagSafe wireless charging.

In addition, this report also claims that the iPad Pro 2022 will be equipped with an M2 processor chip. This is the Apple M1 successor processor, which will be manufactured based on the 3nm process, 15% more powerful than the M1 based on the 5nm process.

With many new changes, iPad Pro 2022 is expected to launch this fall, instead of launching early in the first half of the year. iPad Pro 2021 will be released in April. However, with the M2 chip will only be released by Apple in the second half of the year, so the iPad Pro 2022 will also have to wait until this time to be released.
