In the midst of a shortage of electricity, VinFast announced an increase in electric vehicle charging fees

VinFast has just issued a notice to adjust the cost of charging electric vehicles at public charging stations.

Based on the electricity price announced by the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) on May 4, 2023, the level 5 domestic electricity price is adjusted to increase from 3,117.4 VND/kWh (VAT included) to 3,210, 9 VND/kWh (VAT included).

Accordingly, VinFast decided to adjust the cost of charging electric vehicles at VinFast public charging stations from VND 3,117.4 / kWh (VAT included) to VND 3,210.9 / kWh (VAT included). This adjustment is effective from 10/06/2023.

With an increase of 93.5 VND/kWh, the cost of fully charging the car battery increased by about 4,000-8,600 VND. Meanwhile, the cost of charging with electric motorcycle models using a 3.5 kWh battery pack increased by less than 350 VND/charge.

Currently, in order to encourage people to use electric vehicles, VinFast plans to develop a system of charging stations with more than 150,000 charging ports across 63 provinces and cities in Vietnam. According to this brand, with a wide system of public charging stations and reasonable charging costs, customers can rest assured when using VinFast electric cars without having to worry about financial burden after buying a car.

A few days ago, VinFast also announced the VF3 mini electric car model. With enough space for 5 people, this car manufacturer expects the VF3 to become the new “national vehicle” of Vietnamese people, contributing to realizing the “car dream” of Vietnamese people.
