Huawei today quietly released the Huawei P40 4G version nearly a year after the P40 series was introduced. So at the present time, the P40 series currently includes the following products: P40 Lite, P40 Lite 5G, P40 Lite E, P40 5G, P40 Pro 5G and P40 Pro + 5G.
Huawei P40 4G code-named ANA-AL00, physical dimensions 148.9 x 71.06 x 8.5mm and weighs 175g. The device has a nearly unchanged design compared to the standard Huawei P40 5G version when it is finished from two toughened glass and metal frames.
On the front, the P40 4G is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution, a standard 60Hz refresh rate and an integrated fingerprint sensor in the screen. This screen uses a dual “mole” design with a 32MP selfie camera.
On the back, Huawei P40 4G is equipped with rectangular main camera cluster, fine-tuned by Leica. The specifications are identical to the 5G version, including a 50MP wide-angle camera, 16MP ultra-wide angle and 3X 8MP OIS telephoto that supports up to 30X electronic zoom.
In terms of hardware configuration, Huawei P40 4G is equipped with Kirin 990 4G chip, 8GB RAM and 128GB memory. The battery of the device has a capacity of 3800mAh and supports 22.5W fast charging. Currently, it is not clear what is the difference between the Kirin 990 4G and Kirin 990 5G chips.
Huawei P40 4G will be available in the Chinese market with two color options, dark blue and silver with the price of 3988 yuan, equivalent to 14.2 million dong, about 2 million cheaper than the 5G version.
