HOT: Recorded 7th case of corona virus in Vietnam

The seventh case is positive for corona in Vietnam

Patients with OA (male, born in 1947, US national), living in room 202 Trieu Han hotel, 382 / 1-3 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 5, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, have symptoms of onset 1/26/2020; admitted to the hospital on January 31, 2020.

Through a medical history survey, on January 14, 2020 patients flew from the United States to Vietnam on Flight 660 of China Southern Airlines. On 15/01/2020 patients in transit at the airport of Wuhan China within 2 hours.

On January 16, 2020, the patient arrived at Tan Son Nhat airport and moved to Trieu Han hotel, 382 / 1-3 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, ward 5, district 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

History of patients with no fever, no muscle aches, dry cough, sometimes shortness of breath.

Laboratory test information: White blood cells: 22.9K / mm3, red blood cells: 4.61M / mm3, platelets: 388K / mm3, Hct: 42.8%. XQ: diffuse lung parenchymal injury 2 schools. On 31/01/2020 pharyngeal fluid.

On January 31, 2020, a pharyngeal swab will show positive results for nCoV.

Currently, patients are being isolated and treated at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City, breathing oxygen, antibiotics and antiviral.

Exploiting patient history, said on 14/01/2020 the patient flew from the US to Vietnam on Flight 660 of China Southern Airlines.
