We are very familiar with the interface of Google Search, the main color of the search results page is white. But not everyone likes this light tone, especially those who often work at night. The good news is that Google will finally support dark mode for search results pages on desktop browsers.
According to Google’s support page, users will be able to make changes by going to Settings > Search Settings > Appearance. Here, you can choose a light, dark or auto-customizable interface. If you don’t see the Appearance settings, you may have to wait a little longer. Google says the new feature will be updated in the next few weeks.
Google has been testing this dark mode since February, but it took until now for an official announcement. Previously, Google’s main search application on iOS and Android also had a dark mode. But this is the first time desktop browsers are supported.
Or users can turn the Google search page black, using browser plugins. But a genuine feature from Google will still help users to use and experience more comfortably.
