E-wallet race: MoMo is far ahead of ShopeePay, leading the top 5 most popular e-payment companies on social networks in 2022

The 2022 Fintech Industry Ranking is published by Reputa – a system that listens and supports reputation monitoring, and publishes information on market fluctuations that took place in the past year.

According to data collected by Reputa, in 2022, there will be more than 1.6 million discussions related to this field in Vietnam. In which, electronic payment is the most discussed industry group with nearly 1.1 million discussions, more than 3 times the number of discussions about digital banking (nearly 350,000 times). The most active discussion group is in the age group of 25 – 34 years old, accounting for 60%. This is also the generation that uses fintech applications the most.

Reputa’s report shows that MoMo ranked No. 1 in the ranking of electronic payment companies by popularity on social networks, with the highest total score, nearly 150 points. The total score is calculated including nuance points (likedness), discussion share score, interaction score, virality score.

MoMo’s “trending” articles and meaningful and practical events and programs receive positive interactions from the online community. Accordingly, MoMo is really serious about communicating on social networks, thereby enhancing the brand’s reputation and business efficiency.

This chart also analyzes the factors users care about when using Fintech products. Reputa’s report claims more than 97% of users are satisfied with the payment experience. In addition, questions and answers about the flow of experiences, attractive promotions or advice, quick and enthusiastic support are also factors that are of top interest to users.

Reputa also ranks 5 most popular digital banks on social networks. Accordingly, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) is the most popular bank, followed by TPBank, Techcombank and Timo.
