The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom was launched earlier this year, but until now DxOMark experts have evaluated the camera quality. According to DxOMark’s evaluation, the camera on Redmi K30 Pro Zoom is quite good quality, scoring an overall score of 120 and ranking 10th in the rankings, higher than both the Galaxy S20 + and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Talking a little about the configuration, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom is equipped with a 4-camera system placed in a circular module on the back. This camera cluster includes the Quad Bayer 64MP main sensor, 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, 13MP ultra wide-angle camera and 2MP depth sensor for portrait photography.
According to DxOMark, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom has scored an average score of 120, including 129 photography points and 101 video recording points. Speaking of taking photos, this phone is praised for its ability to achieve fast and accurate autofocus, as well as exposure, zoom and color reproduction quite well.
However, tests conducted by DxOMark show that the photos of the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom have low detail and slight deviations in colors when shooting zoom indoors. The device is capable of portraits quite well, but photos taken with wide-angle camera lacks detail and noise. However, this phone still has excellent performance when taking photos outdoors, helping to increase the total shooting point of the entire camera cluster.
In terms of video recording capabilities, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom is once again appreciated for its color reproduction, good image stabilization, quick focus and accurate exposure. However, the video obtained still has noise and the level of detail is not really impressive.
