Blue Origin, the space company of billionaire Jeff Bezos, has just revealed plans to build a new space station, called “Orbitan Reef”. This project will have cooperation with many other space companies with expected implementation from 2025 to 2030.

The company’s main partner in this project is space company Sierra Space, in addition to Boeing, Redwire Space and Genesis Engineering.

In addition, Axiom Space is also developing its own space station.

Promoting private firms to develop their own space stations is also part of NASA’s plan as the agency prepares to close the International Space Station. The facility costs NASA $4 billion a year and will be structurally complete by 2028. Earlier this year NASA said it was planning to award four contracts with each contract worth at least. $300 million for ideas to commercialize space in orbit.

While the space travel needs of wealthy customers and scientific research teams are clear, there are still other customers. Still, Mr. Sherwood said it was time to examine these needs.
