At the Online Marketing Forum 2020 (VOMF), a representative from a unit in the field of quality control questioned Tiki’s product quality control, and suggested that Tiki should learn from Amazon in the train the Sellers, and that the e-commerce platform still controls the quality of the goods “on rice”.

Representative from Tiki, Sales Manager Nguyen Chi Tho admitted that Tiki considers Amazon a platform to learn from, and Founder and CEO Tiki Nguyen Ngoc Thai Son also regularly mentions this.

Regarding the quality control of goods sold on the floor, Mr. Tho said Tiki controls 3 phases: Before, During, and After Purchasing. Specifically:

1- Before

The brothers and sisters who used to sell goods on the floors will complain” Heaven “, because Tiki is the hardest floor to publish products, ” said Tho.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Tho – Sales Director of Tiki Floor.

To sell goods on Tiki requires:

– License for business registration, not everyone can sell.

– ” To post products, all products must have a certificate of origin. Want to sell water bottles, there must be a product announcement, clarifying where Sellers bought this bottle to be posted, ” said Tho.

“We are very difficult in the entry criteria”.

2- In

“At this stage, Tiki is doing both” rice “and the system, ” said Tho.

With the team running “on rice”, Tiki in fact has a QC team (Quality Control – quality control). Every week, every month, the QC team selects the products that are considered to be easy to have the worst quality, to directly inspect them.

When a customer orders an item, Tiki will go directly to the store to pick up the product, but have not delivered the product directly to the customer, but take it to Tiki’s warehouse to check again.

With the system part, Tiki applies AI technology (artificial intelligence) and Machine Learning (machine learning) to develop “Investigation Tool” and “Fraud Detection System” system to be able to automatically filter out content. the product is likely to be counterfeit and of no quality, and must be disposed of immediately.

Another “In” mentioned by Mr. Tho is “in delivery”. When the customer orders an item, Tiki will go directly to the store to pick up the product, but have not delivered the product directly to the customer, but take it to Tiki’s warehouse, check the product again and then pack according to the standard of Tiki.

It is a way to check the product again, then deliver it to the customer “, said Tiki Floor Sales Manager.

3- After

“By mistake of missing a few” flies passing “, the customer is the one who helps Tiki reflect whether the product is quality or not, fake or not. When discovering like that, Tiki makes a compensation and apologizes. previous customers with a policy of 111% of the product value, and at the same time permanently close the booth “, said Mr. Tho.
