ASUS launches two gaming laptops ROG Strix G 18 and ROG Strix Scar 18 with a huge 18-inch screen

At the CES 2023 exhibition, ASUS first launched gaming laptops with huge screens, up to 18 inches. Those are two new gaming laptop models Asus ROG Strix G 18 and ROG Strix Scar 18.

Both new 18-inch gaming laptops from ASUS are equipped with the new Nebula HDR technology, which increases maximum brightness to 1,100 nits and supports Dolby Vision. Users can also choose 165Hz and 240Hz refresh rates, to suit different types of games.

In addition to the impressive new screens, the Asus ROG Strix G 18 and ROG Strix Scar 18 are also equipped with terrible configurations. ASUS says it uses Nvidia’s discrete graphics card and Intel Core i9 processor. Besides, there is up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD.

The 18-inch screen promises to open a new era for gaming laptops, giving gamers unprecedented experiences with limited display screen size. But of course with the larger size, moving with these laptops will also become more difficult.

Besides the new 18-inch models, ASUS also introduced 16-inch Strix G and Strix Scar models with the same specifications as their larger siblings. And if you want an AMD profile, you can opt for the refreshed 17-inch Strix G and Strix Scar versions.
