Apple orders production of at least 90 million iPhone 14 units

Bloomberg reports that Apple has asked suppliers to produce at least 90 million iPhone 14 units. It is known that Apple asked suppliers to produce 90 million iPhone 13 units last year. This means that Apple expects iPhone 14 demand to at least match the demand for iPhone 13 when the device hits the market. In previous years, Apple had planned to produce about 75 million units for the initial ramp-up.

Apple is still expected to assemble about 220 million iPhone 14 units for the whole of 2022.
