According to Macrumors, Apple defines old as products that have not been manufactured for more than 5 years but less than 7 years, while obsolete products have been out of production for more than 7 years. Macs and other products on the old and obsolete list are generally no longer eligible for Apple hardware services.

After being listed, these devices will still function normally, but will not be able to receive new OS version updates. In addition, Apple will also stop providing repair parts for Mac computers that are on the obsolete list. Therefore, if there is a problem, users will not be able to repair and replace genuine parts.

In addition, the above products are no longer genuine and new, only old products are circulating on the market. Therefore, if you still want to buy, users need to check carefully by looking at the information in the device.
