Among them, there are 224 IP addresses of state agencies and organizations – 20 IP addresses of ministries and agencies and 204 IP addresses of provinces.

Among the 20 IP addresses of state agencies and organizations in the ghost computer network recorded in October, the Ministry of Science and Technology has the highest number of IP addresses in the botnet (8 addresses); Radio Voice of Vietnam (7 addresses); State Audit and Ministry of Justice (1 address).

As for the province, Lai Chau has the largest number of IP addresses in the botnet (33 addresses); followed by Thanh Hoa (18); Nam Dinh (12), Ha Nam (11), Hanoi (10), Dien Bien (9), Dak Nong (9),….

According to the Department of Information Security, in the first months of this year, the number of Vietnamese IP addresses in the ghost computer network has continuously decreased, from 879,342 addresses in January 2022 to 704,939 in June. 2022 and this number in October is 517,627 addresses.

Also in the newly released technical report, the Information Security Administration continues to share information about weaknesses and vulnerabilities that exist on computers of state agencies and organizations. Specifically, the technical system of the NCSC has recorded 1,768 weaknesses and security holes in the information systems of state agencies and organizations.

Emphasizing the number of weaknesses and vulnerabilities mentioned above is very large, the Department of Information Security also said that it has directed the NCSC to evaluate and identify dangerous and influential vulnerabilities on a large scale and guide ministries to remedial industry.
