Donald Trump’s Twitter account has been stripped of all privileges

After President-elect Joe Biden is officially inaugurated on January 20, 2021, Donald Trump’s Twitter account will also be stripped of any perks he previously enjoyed as a leader.

Twitter said Mr. Trump’s @realDonaldTrump account will have to follow the same rules as any other regular user. This includes rules about prohibiting inciting violence and posting false information.

Twitter applies a special policy to the accounts of world leaders and some special officials. This special policy protects them if they violate Twitter’s community rules.

“Special policies apply to world leaders at the moment and candidates who remain in office,” a Twitter spokesperson said . They are not applicable if they no longer hold these positions ”.

Changes will apply to Mr. Trump’s personal Twitter account. While other Government Twitter accounts such as @WhiteHouse, @POTUS and @FLOTUS will be transferred to the new management.

Before that, Mr. Trump was very active on the social networking platform Twitter. However, Mr. Trump’s articles are sometimes outrageous and untrue. Despite the prerogative of protection, Twitter has also had to restrict some of Trump’s posts, such as the May threat “When robbery happens, there will be shooting.”

So in the near future, Mr. Trump will have to be more careful with his Twitter posts.
