Nokia introduces 55-inch TVs with 4K UHD and JBL Audio displays in India

In November, it was reported that Nokia and Flipkart were working together to prepare to launch Nokia-branded smart TVs. And today, in India, Nokia's first smart TV called "Nokia 55-inch Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart Android TV" with JBL audio has been launched.

This Smart TV is not a product manufactured by HMD Global – the company licensed to produce Nokia-branded smartphones – but a result of the cooperation between Nokia and Flipkart. The Indian retail giant will be in charge of producing, distributing and selling the TV.

Technical data

Nokia's new Smart TV has a 55-inch 4K UHD screen. As a smart TV, it runs Android 9.0. In terms of sound, Nokia's Smart TV is equipped with JBL sound technology – a well-known brand in the audio field – to provide superior sound quality for 24-watt speakers. Sound quality is one of the device's highlights (it also features improved Dolby Audio for a better overall audio experience).

Some specifications of Nokia TV

The device is equipped with a quad-core processor combined with 2.25GB RAM, 16 GB memory. Additionally, the device offers a range of different ports to connect to, including HDMI and two USB ports (2.0 and 3.0). It is also equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi.

Nokia Smart Smart TV will be available on Flipkart from December 10 for around $ 588. When purchased, the device will come with a stand as well as a wall mount, Bluetooth remote control and Google Assistant support for voice commands and input.
