Guide to setup hacked bios for Mainboard PC Laptop # 8

Tram Ho

Hackintosh bios configuration of each vendor will be different, so I will divide by brand, for the same main and old brands, it is not the same entirely.

Because there are too many brands and main machines, so I can not make specific types of bios. You need to find and edit some of the following in bios:

1. Configuring Hackios Bios For laptops

  • Disabled Secure Boot
  • Disable Fast Boot
  • SATA Mode : AHCI
  • Disable VT-d, VT-x should enable or cannot run virtual machine.
  • Security Chips / Security modules : Disabled (if possible, they may cause a boot error)
  • DVMT-prealloc, Graphics Memory : 64MB (if possible, some laptop bios don’t have this option by default at 32MB then you need to patch the framebuffer)
  • If your screen is 2K or 4K, you need to adjust Graphics Memory to 128MB or higher.
  • Legacy / CSM support : Enable (if turned off or broken images when booting, if normal boot then turn off)
  • Disable LAN / WLAN / WWAN boot / wake
  • Disable wake on usb

Above are the popular Main points I have compiled, if you need anything more people comment I will synthesize more! when installing hackintosh you should also know that not all BIOS has all the following options or the same name so if not, then you should ignore it.
